Learn to Surf Muizenburg Beach
Girls and Boys Town

On Saturday the 14th March we had our second experience of 2020 with 15 boys from the childrens home, Girls and Boys Town.  We arranged for the young boys ages 7 -15 years to have private surf lessons with Learn to Surf based in Muizenburg.  It was the most beautiful morning with glassy water and gentle waves rolling in.  Seeing these boys smile and their determination to ride the waves was very inspiring. They say surfing heals and can improve mental, physical and social health outcomes – we sure can believe this.  We ended the day with fish and chips and ice creams.
